Streedagh Strand is an impressive 3km long sandbar, which also has a double-edged beach running from one tip to the end. One end faces east commanding views upon the iconic Benbulben Mountain and the other side faces west out into the vast Atlantic Ocean.
On this beach you can lay back and watch the sun rise in the east over Benbulben Mountain, then in the late evening you can turn around and watch the sun set in the west over the Atlantic Ocean. The perfect place to sun worship from sunrise until sunset
