I’ve always had an idea of attempting to capture the Northern Lights over my home town. Normally we are too far south and light pollution etc would make it impossible, but was not the issue last night! I knew the solar winds were striking so I took a chance and captured the Aurora over Strabane town and behind this stunning old tree on the “Liskey Road” It is a very symbolic and recognisable tree to anyone from my home town
