Description
Located between Carndonagh & Malin Head, County Donegal, Ireland
Recently i’ve been capturing these stunning old thatched cottages that are scattered throughoutIreland. I particularly love this cottage because of the White Roses growing against the wall, the traditional red door & windows and even the old dog kennel still stands
One can’t help but wonder on who lived here once & what happened? If walls could only talk id say there would be many a great story that could be told from this little homestead. It’s always in my mind that these little cottages aren’t going to stay abandoned long, as they are simply awaiting their master’s return 🙂
I looked around nearby but couldn’t find out who owned this stunning little homestead or anything about its history & I hope it’s ok with them that i’ve used this image only to show others the beauty of Inishowen on the Wild Atlantic Way
