This is an amazing piece of real Ireland, barely untouched by modernism. This area is so natural with Traditional cottages & its little hand build stone walls all on small fields scattered on the shore sides. Lasting for generations after generations to come
It always takes my thoughts back to what life may have been like hundreds of years ago on these barren coastal shores. It would have been a very tough life & I would imagine it still may be harsh at times around here during bad weather
These walls & cottages are a true standing testament of time that were painstakingly built by generations now long gone, but they are not forgotten for their great efforts…Bloody Forelands
