Description
Crohy Head Sea Arch, Maghery, County Donegal, Ireland
This amazing sea arch stack is located on a small Donegal peninsula called Crohy Head. This coastline has virtually unchanged and still looks like it did millions of years ago, during the Prehistoric period when it was all volcanic activity & roaming with now extinct creatures.
When standing here it actually looks like you are gazing through a window into our distant past and I personally find these rocky & unchanged natural seascapes fascinating! Crohy is an absolute unique gem along Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way & I hope it never changes for another few million years at least
