Description
The Cliffs of Glencolmcille, County Donegal, Ireland
These enormous cliffs are like something pulled straight from a fairy-tale book. At their top is a Napoleonic lookout tower in the style of a medieval castle facing over the abyss of the Atlantic Ocean. These cliffs are easily on par with Slieve League or Cliffs of Moher with the inclusion of true tranquillity. Unlike other tourist locations there’s barely anyone here at any giving time, other than a few wild roaming sheep.
During the capture of this spring storm I couldn’t help but feel pity for the sheep on the slopes before me. However no matter how strongly those cold winds howled & blew…. These sheep were not one bit worried at all and continued grazing whilst I had to shelter myself against a wall! At the end I think it was the sheep who felt pity on me
