Description
Crohy Head Sea Arch, Dungloe/Maghery, County Donegal, Ireland
This amazing sea arch is located on a small Donegal peninsula named Crohy Head. This stretch of coastline has virtually unchanged and still looks like it did millions of years ago, during Prehistoric times with all its unusual volcanic rock formations. The pristine waters around here are pacific turquoise in colour.
When sitting here, hours just seem to pass in minutes & it really does look like you are staring through a window into the past. I personally find this natural rocky & unchanged seascape fascinating! Crohy is a unique gem along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way & I hope it never changes for another few million years at least…
