The Breen Streams, Victoria Bridge, Strabane, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland
The month of May as we know is ‘Bluebell Season’ Around this time each year many photographers rush to capture these stunning little flowers in colourful bloom before they dwindle away for another year.
There’s just something about Bluebells thriving in the open air that I really love. I think it is because these delicate little flowers naturally grow in shaded woodland habitats, so it’s more unusual to find them with clear uncanopied skies above them.
Whilst strolling this riverbank along the gentle flowing River Mourne, I was greeted by these freshly bloomed bluebells vibrantly shining in the sunlight against the backdrop of an old forgotten railway bridge All complimented by the matching blue sky above and the cool blue river water alongside. Long may they thrive by the riverside
