Trawalua Strand, Mullaghmore, County Sligo, Ireland
Whilst strolling through a vast grassy plain, I couldn’t help but notice the tower of nearby Classiebawn Castle peeking out across the top of these sand dunes every so often. This made me visualise a giant sandcastle! I moved around and found a raised mound in which I could align my camera with the castle on the dune.
Even though this castle is 1.5 miles away it gave an illusion that it was sitting on top of the sand dunes. This composition brought back my childhood & I managed to discover a giant sandcastle that day ? ?
