This stunning area of Malin Head is Ireland’s most northerly point, next stop north from here is the Iceland! The stormy waves of our Wild Atlantic Way have battered & shaped these ancient volcanic rocks into sharp jagged pillars over millions of years.
This location was used for the filming of “Star Wars” movie or “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” that was filmed right here in County Donegal! If you look onto the end of that rocky outcrop to the left, you will see where the Millenium Falcon spaceship was set
