Description
Classiebawn, Mullaghmore, County Sligo overlooking Slieve League Cliffs, Carrick, County Donegal, Ireland
This title may seem a little strange to those who are familiar with these areas, but I’ll explain. I normally capture photos of County Donegal or photos from County Sligo, however this is one single photo showing both Counties, including the main tourist attraction of each county

I did capture a similar image to this a few years ago, however I wanted to attempt a new fresher version with my newer camera gear. So, I set out yesterday and captured this scene from a different vantage point to see the castle even closer/clearer.
This photo was captured in Grange overlooking Classiebawn in Mullaghmore, County Sligo. What I found amazing is that when I measured the distance from where I was standing during capture to The Slieve League Cliffs (as the crow flies) and it’s exactly 20 miles away!
This is a single image file, created at 600mm by the “lens compression” method I normally use. Basically it means the further you zoom into a mid-range object, the larger and closer the background gets drawn forward to the observer
