Description
Boyeeghter Bay or Murder Hole Beach, Rosguill Peninsula, Melmore, Downings, County Donegal, Ireland
There’s something magical about snow when it rests upon our land. I love seeing snow lying across our fields, forests & church spires. However, there’s just something special about snow on the beach that I’ve always admired. It gives me a warm feeling inside when looking at such a cold scene outside… if you can hopefully relate to what I’m trying to explain
Maybe it’s because we normally visualise beaches as warm sunny day places and our minds don’t often think on them during the deep winter? Maybe because snow on beaches is much rarer due to the salt in the sand always melting it away as soon as it touches the shore, either way I’ve always found snow on the beach simply fascinating
