Ballybofey Countryside, County Donegal, Ireland
One of my personal favorite photos that I’ve ever captured was the one of this curious flock of sheep. I remember trying for ages to compose a scene with this large open moorland & the magnificent Blue Stack Mountains in the background. However each time I tried to capture my visioned scene this flock of extremely curious sheep literally kept photobombing my frame! Getting irritated by them I took this one photo, then chased them all away!
It wasn’t until I later looked through my images of the day, that I realised that these poor lonely sheep were actually the best part of this scene! Without them it was just another boring generic landscape photo. To think I chased them away thinking they were ruining my photo? I’m an idiot! But now I fully understand that “Sometimes what you seek is right in front of you”. All we need to do is stop for a moment & think on exactly what it is were looking for……
