Situated 9 miles offshore north Donegal in the Atlantic Ocean can be found the magical isle of Tory. An island that bares ancient legends of giants and kings. This small 3 mile long island is easily Ireland’s most natural inhabited places remaining, which still proudly embraces its traditional island life culture.
It’s easy to see how so many tales of giants arose as there are enormous cliffs and rock formations scattered along its coast, such as these magnificent 50M tall sea stacks protruding from the sea like the trident tips of Poseidon’s giant spear 
In the distance can be seen the uniquely shaped Tor Mór Ridge which gives Tory Island its distinctive shape when viewed from mainland, making Tory look like a sleeping giant lying on his back on the horizon line dreaming into the heavens above….
