Description
Rosguill Peninsula, Downings, County Donegal, Ireland
This is a scene I captured only this morning on ‘The Atlantic Drive’ overlooking the tranquil ‘Tra Na Rossan Bay’. This bay differs from many other beaches, due to it being seated between these giant rocky hills on either side. On the slopes of these hills grow lush green fern, wildflowers & heater that is now in purple bloom. As for the colour of these waters, words don’t serve them justice so just look for yourself…..
Rosguill Peninsula has recently become my new “home from home” as we have acquired a holiday mobile home here. I am delighted to finally become a resident of the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ after all these years capturing & talking about it. It’s my dream come true ?. I can’t wait to wake each morning & walk this stunning beach which is only a few feet away. I’ve so many new ideas & locations to capture along this coastline of North Donegal, now that I have my new base camp on location ?
