Description
River Mourne, Strabane, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland
There are many things I love about aerial photography. Mainly it’s the ability to look down on things from an “Angel’s view” & gain new perspectives on lesser seen areas. Areas in which we often pass on foot, not realising all their hidden beauty.
This was the case here. I flew over this location, in which I drive past quite regularly. From the ground this view is blanketed by tall roadside hedgerows & trees but from the sky it’s completely different! I literally just let the drone hover in place for a good 10 minutes. In those minutes I simply watched the sun set & witnessed the sky change from blue to gold, then finally red.
On the ground I often watch rivers flow past during sunsets… but from the sky there is something truly mesmerising when watching a colourful river pass under you
