Fanad Head, County Donegal, Ireland
Due to my regular 6 day per week work schedule i’m normally unable to get away early enough during the bright sunny part of each day 🙁 because of this I never seem to find the chance nor time any season to capture images of flowers etc as im continually rushing after work to reach planned locations.
However this one evening I was as always driving like crazy trying to reach Fanad Head lighthouse on time for a sunset. I seen this very scene from my passengers window and slammed the brakes and got out and captured this image looking through these wild roadside flowers overlooking “Mulroy Bay” along Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way. However because of this stop I did miss the sunset over the famous lighthouse but i’m not worried as ive never captured this style of image before of colourful flowers during a moody sunset. As you can see, there’s much more to Fanad Head than just the stunning Fanad Head Lighthouse
