Glentornan – Dunlewey, Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland
Captured right here in Ireland over the stunning area of Glentornan on the shores of Dunlewey Lough, this photo looks like it may have been captured in Iceland or Canada due to the majestic Errigal mountain towering over everything in her path 
This small football field belongs to Dunlewey Celtic FC. As football pitches go, this must be the most picturesque pitches I’ve yet seen on my travels. Just imagine how patriotic these players must feel when playing home matches in some of Donegal & Ireland’s most beautiful scenery, right beneath Errigal’s watchful eye. I’m sure those players don’t even think about the cold weather when they are running across this pitch under a scene such as this 
For years I have captured photos of this stunning Glentornan Park football pitch however this was the first time (31/08/24) in which I managed to capture the actual players here during a game. Not only playing but if you look closely this may be a kick off whistle blowing moment too 
I would consider taking up football myself if I could possibly bring my cameras along to each match…. 
I don’t think there would be much football played though on my end if this was the case
