On this evening I was driving trying to reach Fanad Head Lighthouse on time for a sunset shoot. I suddenly approached this very scene and had to just stop the car there and then! Such a stunning church & graveyard in one of the most photogenic locations on the shores of “Mulroy Bay” along Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way.
The sunset was illuminating the clouds & reflecting of the clam waters creating these beautiful warm amber tones. Because of this stop I did miss the sunset over the famous lighthouse but i’m not worried as this little church & graveyard is as equally stunning in my eyes & there’s always tomorrow……
