Description

Camus Railway Bridge, Strabane, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland

This stunning old rusty railway bridge that my friends, family and I grew up playing around was constructed in 1911. It was part of the “Great Northern Railway” line (GNR) that was established throughout Ireland in 1883. This old bridge was once a major part of the Industrial Era that has since long gone. Sadly after 75 years of service the “Great Northern Railway” shut down operations in 1957

Yesterday evening I once again set out alone to clear my mind from daily stress & to hopefully capture an image to share with you today  I stood here peacefully overlooking this local corn field & watched the most stunning sky I’ve seen in ages ignite with colour in front of me. Its these very moments that makes me grateful on what lies on our very door steps. You’ve no need to travel miles or to even be a photographer. All you need to do is look deeper into your everyday surroundings & you will see the hidden beauty…..
