This is the remains of Fort Dunree war camp after almost 80 years of storm damage & decay on this harsh coastline. I like the way it just stands here reminding us on all the soldiers who played their part in the WW2 effort here in Ireland
Fort Dunree is now an outdoor museum and all the old buildings and guns etc remain exactly as they were left just after the war, It just leaves me breathless on how well preserved this area still remains!
