Description
Comet Neowise only orbits into our skies once every 6,766 years & stays for one month! As you can imagine myself & other photographers/astronomers across the globe are buzzing with excitement to capture a photo of this once in a lifetime celestial object. As it will soon vanish into the abyss of deep space again for thousands of years. I’m no scientist but I don’t believe I’ll be around for its next return ?
The icy dust tail of ‘Comet Neowise’ splits into 2 separate colours, one side is a magnificent blue colour, caused by charged ions & the rest is a whiter colour caused by escaping frozen gasses.
The last time this comet was seen in our skies was during the ice age long before the first civilisations was even formed. To think on how those ancients felt when they gazed up & seen this comet by their naked eye. These celestial objects certainly aided them to construct monuments of worship to the heavens.
Imagine this…. The next time ‘Neowise ‘visits our solar system, humans will be living on the Moon, Planet Mars & maybe even in other further reached solar systems completely! if in doubt, simply look at what we have achieved in the past 100 years of technological advancement, so just imagine what we will have achieved within the next 6800 years…..
