Errigal Mountain, Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland
When out and about capturing my scenes I sometimes strike it lucky. However this kinda luck only happens to me once in a lifetime! I was casually standing on a sand dune on the Donegal shore with my camera on tripod and locked onto this scene with my zoom lens attached. I was aligning up these two cows with Errigal Mountain in the backdrop, which is a staggering 15km away from where I stood.
I heard a distant plane approaching. Suddenly this large Aer Lingus aeroplane starts descending slowly towards me. It crossed my mind “I hope it flies into my set frame” but I never believed it would actually happen… then this happened! The plane flew straight in front of my composed scene & I captured this photo 
It proceeded to land at Donegal Airport in nearby Carrickfinn.
