While I and my cousin SJ were touring around Galway a few months ago we stumbled across this magnificent shrine of Jesus Christ during the Crucifixion. These statues are all full life size, made of solid stone and are extremely well detailed as you can see.
I found the time I spent here capturing this shot very emotional and spiritual due to the life sized statues and Jesus on the cross against this colourful sunset. I admit I’m not a religious man but when I spent moments like this I feel grateful and thankful to Jesus for his scarification to help save us all
