“Making an Entrance” – Glassagh Beach

I stumbled upon this tranquil little beach a few years ago in error due to taking a wrong direction. I honestly must admit that it was the best wrong turn I’ve ever made! as I now frequently return to this amazing little beach. Glassagh has the most stunning entrances to any beach I’ve yet seen in Ireland, the only thing missing is the “Red Carpet” Each time I’ve been here I always seem to have the entire beach to myself! This is one of the most magical things about County Donegal as where else in the world would you get an entire beach to yourself without it being privately owned? Yet along Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way you can take your pick
