I stumbled upon this amazing little thatched cottage whilst on my travels around Inishowen. It is almost completely untouched over the past 100 years at least! I adore old abandoned cottages like this and believe there are lots of hidden beauty in the way nature slowly reclaims its surroundings
I looked around nearby but couldn’t find out who owned this stunning little homestead or anything about its history & I hope it’s ok with them that i’ve used this image only to show others the real beauty of Wild Inishowen
