Drumrallagh, Strabane, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland
Winter has suddenly arrived here in Ireland much faster & colder than we had all anticipated! It’s now a cool -6 degrees here in my hometown of Strabane & still falling! Here is an image I captured of a local deep wooded valley on the outskirts of our town overlooking a large housing estate. The icy mist rolled in from the surrounding hills and the sunset suddenly glowed amber & red reflecting its warm tones from the top of the low laying fog, creating this frosty wintry scene. It is exactly the image I was waiting eagerly for this past few weeks 🙂 I’m guessing its cold almost everywhere nowadays.
