Description
Lough Ash, Donemana, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland
Yesterday evening I got my chance to get back out shooting scenes for 2019. With my trusty camera I aimed for the rural ‘Sperrin’ hills in hope of a scene with no famous landmark or tourism attached to it. Don’t get me wrong, we all love a great photo of a stunning place everyone knows but there are just times my mind leads me in search for completely isolated & rural scenes. I always follow these notions through as you should always follow your instincts ?
Lough Ash is a small lesser known lake in Tyrone & each time im there its void of visitors. This wasn’t enough for me though! So after leaving the car I hiked up over the surrounding muddy fields until I arrived at this stunning little homestead. No roof, windows or door only walls that hold a thousand stories. Sorry I know absolutely nothing on its past families or story but sometimes it’s these mysterious scenes I love to share & let your own minds create the history….
