Description
Rosguill Peninsula, Downings, County Donegal, Ireland
I find nearly every beach across Ireland stunning & Trá Na Rosann is no exception as it’s a pristine gem, unscarred by concrete & steel that’s now common on many resorts today. However, it’s one of those beaches where I actually find the walk leading into it even more beautiful than the sandy shore itself.
On each visit to this beach, I’m left stunned by this beautiful old boardwalk. I love how it winds & leads excited couples, families & pets onto one of Donegal’s finest sandy beaches.
I often watch from this view & have observed that folk start off walking this boardwalk calmly, around halfway they increase their speed dramatically then just like you can see in this photo, as soon as they approach the final league they often start running & cheering with joy knowing that they have reached their own little piece of paradise. Trust me you will do the very same when visiting Trá Na Rossan Beach
