Description
Atlantic Drive, Rosguill Peninsula, Downings, County Donegal, Ireland
Throughout the landscapes & coasts of Ireland can be found various animals such as cows, horses or especially sheep which have become symbolic to Irish landscape imagery. However one of my favourite animals to stumble upon at any time is the humble donkey. There’s just something so comforting when watching them, maybe it’s their long fur like hair or their big rabbit ears but I really adore meeting donkeys on my travels.
On this peaceful day along the ‘Atlantic Drive’ I got “cuteness overload” when meeting this family of 7 donkeys! all posing for me in front of the magical ‘Tra Na Rossan’ beach. I spent ages with them and promised that next time I return, that I’ll bring them all a big bunch of carrots as a treat for being such stunning models in my photograph.
