Description
Rosguill Peninsula, Melmore, Downings, County Donegal, Ireland
Three of my favourite beaches are captured on this photo. Firstly, you can see the stunning ‘Boyeeghter Bay’ or as most know it as “The MurderHole Beach” in the foreground. Behind it’s shadowing hill of ‘Gortnalughoge’ can be seen ‘Tra Na Rossan Beach’ & if your eyes are really sharp then you may just see ‘Tramore Beach’ in the extreme distance under the clouds on ‘Sheephaven Bay’ with ‘Muckish Mountain’ to the right.
This photo clearly shows the very reason I love Ireland so much! There aren’t many other places that I’ve visited in the world that has so many pristine beauty spots all at such close proximity from each other. Especially in this area of north Donegal, as you can visit a beach, then travel a few minutes to arrive at an even prettier beach, castle, mountain etc
I can proudly say that the slogan “Ireland has it all” could not be any truer in my humble opinion
