Keem Bay really needs no introduction as it’s one of the most iconic beaches in Ireland. This old basking shark lookout post on the beach shore was recently used as ‘Colm Doherty’s house’ in the Irish movie ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’.
On arrival the entire Achill Island was blanketed in a thick low lying cloud inversion. I initially presumed there would be no photos captured that day. Within 5 minutes the misty clouds floated back up the surrounding hills, exposing this stunning beach for me to enjoy & admire.
Amongst all the undesirable weather, time and effort that goes with landscape photography, sometimes there are these little personal miracle moments that make up for all previous failed attempts
