Seated far north on the Inishowen Peninsula, away from our modern congestion can be found Tullagh Bay. Shaped like a horseshoe this tranquil beach with its golden sand rests at the foot of Binnion hill. One of the most remarkable sights to witness on this shore is when local “Tullagh Bay Equestrian Centre” lets their horses out for gallops along this strand. The only thing more appealing than an empty beach is a beach full of galloping horses on a summers eve 
A few days ago I finished my daily work routine, but instead of driving home I decided to drive to the tip of Ireland again. I wandered around here for almost an hour wearing a set of oily work overalls & pair of steel toe capped boots! Like many beaches across Donegal not one single soul did I meet. I had this entire bay totally to myself. There are no words to describe how this feels especially after a hectic week.
I don’t always visit these areas of beauty solely to capture photographs…. Some of the time I mainly visit these quiet areas to unwind in unchanged nature & detox from the stress of current times. Admittedly I don’t like leaving empty handed & do bring the cameras with me. After my alone time I then proceed to capture these scenes to share with you all. As the saying goes “Killing two birds with one stone”
